Chapter 107 Bookworm
Lei Zhen spent a few more times in his secret hideout before exiting.
After leaving the hideout, Lei Zhen pushed the button again and everything seemed to have gone back to normal.
Who would have thought in this kind of rundown apartment actually have some high-tech stuff hidden beneath?
"I should head back to Magnolia since Griselda might be waiting for me." He muttered, returning to his usual calm composure. All the hatred and ferocious expression seemed to have vanished into thin air as if they were nonexistent.
By the time he entered Magnolia, Lei Zhen saw the in-game text message from Griselda.
Meet me near the main path of Yors Castle.
Seeing that text message, Lei Zhen made sure to head toward an item shop to restock some mana potions and health potions.
The mission he completed did not state how much money he would receive, but miraculously, his inventory had some silver coins and 3 gold coins.
In addition, because of his title [Hero of the Siege] effect, he received a lot of discounts and had the commission fee lowered in the process.
Therefore, he used this opportunity to convert the 2 gold coins into real-life currency, saving 1 gold coin in the meantime.
The conversion of gold coins is nice with the effect of his title, so he managed to get around 2 thousand dollars after the commission tax fee.
Of course, gold coins are still scarce and not many players are willing to convert them into real-life currency.
After completing all those tasks and restocking his inventory, Lei Zhen checked on his status one last time before meeting with Griselda.
[Name: Lei Zhen
Class: Crowd Controller

His attack points had finally reached the 30 mark because of the title effect as well, making Lei Zhen feel like all the effort and time he used in the war was worth it.
"Ahh, this is what we call working for benefit." Lei Zhen muttered softly, thinking that he might have gotten a jackpot.
Sometime later, Lei Zhen saw Griselda standing near the main path and many players were hoping to invite her to their party, with some of them even being a fan of hers.
pαndα,noνɐ1,сoМ Given her status as a celebrity in Magnolia, it wasn\'t hard to recognize her appearance by some people that watched the news.
"Aren\'t you Goddess Griselda? Can I take a picture with you?"
"Please give me an autograph, Goddess Griselda. I always watched your interviews and documentaries about what to do in Magnolia."
"Yeah, please join our party. We will definitely listen to your command."
A frantic crowd was created and even the guards of Yors Castle found it troublesome to maintain order.
As for Griselda herself, she was smiling and interacting with her fans, taking pictures, and writing autographs.
However, for those who wanted to invite her to a party, she kindly rejected them which was understandable to them. After all, it was known to the public that she always goes solo.
At the same time, she noticed Lei Zhen\'s presence in the corner and showed an apologetic smile. She had a reputation to uphold and it would be rude of her to ignore her fans.
Lei Zhen nodded his head, seemingly indicating that he understood her predicament, and decided to wait outside of Yors Castle.
Some activities such as chasing after celebrities were something Lei Zhen could never understand.
Celebrities are still human no matter what, so what was so exciting about them?
Nevertheless, Lei Zhen was a patient man and was willing to wait.
"I guess I\'ll use this time to study the terrain on the swamp again." He muttered, opening a map that he had downloaded from his phone.
Soon, Lei Zhen lost track of time as he came up with numerous strategies in his mind for tackling the swamp environment and its habitual monsters.
It wasn\'t until Griselda came over and pat him on the shoulder did he realize she was done with the mini-fan interaction.
"I can\'t tell if you\'re a bookworm or just a boring person in general." Griselda sighed softly.
"Knowledge is something one will never say it\'s enough. Having more knowledge can help us in the future and avoid unnecessary steps." Lei Zhen calmly responded, not bothered by her words.
Griselda nodded her head.
"Alright then, what\'s your plan if you\'ve been studying for this long?" She asked cheekily.
"We can tread through this narrow path at the start of the swamp. Though the environment itself is worse on the narrow path, the monsters are fewer and would save us a lot of strength."
"Hmm, but what if the black mage already deployed his summoned monster there?"
"If he does, then that\'s even more perfect. Don\'t forget what my class is and how powerful my skills are." Lei Zhen smirked, reminding her of his crazy spell.
Being reminded of the spell, a shiver ran past Griselda as she could not understand how he could have such a powerful spell.
Of course, stun isn\'t an abnormal skill and is commonly used by mages and sorcerers. However, the crux of the problem was that his spell seemed to be different and ignored much of the players\' resistance stats.
Despite being a tier 2 player, Griselda found it difficult to break free from his stun and her resistance seemed to be futile against it.
"Seriously, your spell should be banned." She said grudgingly.
"If my spell should be banned then your charm should be exiled. That way, I wonder if you can get any fans at all." Lei Zhen shot right back.
"Tsk, so rude." Griselda clicked her tongue in annoyance, clearly unable to find another good counter to his jab.
"I won\'t be rude if you would speak politely similarly to how you interact with your fans. Otherwise, people might just call your behavior a hypocritical act."
"Alright, you won the argument already. Let\'s just move now instead of idling."
With that said, Griselda hastened her speed and walked ahead.
\'Can it even be considered an argument when you never had an advantage from the start?\' Lei Zhen thought to himself.
Alas, he wasn\'t going to ask her that outright and instead followed behind her.
